Whether ego is void or not is beside the point. It is a useful tool. Keep
it in good condition. Case's was such that there was very little standing
in the way of fulfilling his deepest desires.

It is interesting that there are so many well-known examples of what you
suggest who were born that year. Equally, you would be amazed at who is
born every year, well-known or not.
